North Park
The most sprawling of the urban neighborhoods, North Park is situated to the northeast of Balboa Park. Home to hundreds of classic California Style Craftsman houses, North Park includes the subneighborhoods of Burlingame, Altadena, and the Morley Field area. The North Park sign can be seen above 30th Street and University Avenue.

North Park has recently experienced a significant influx of development interest, especially within its downtown area. The community has already approved a number of significant proposals that will transform the fabric of downtown North Park.

Every year, the Lions Toyland Parade and Spring Festival draw visitors to the neighborhood.

Pick up a newspaper at Paras News, have a breakfast at The Mission. Then go to Morley Field Sports Complex to play tennis.

Go to Thai Time (4102 30th St) and have lunch special which includes Tom Yum Soup. Have some coffee at Claire de Lune and check out their next Entertainment.

 Go to Ray Street between North Park Way and University Avenue and enjoy the art galleries while sipping wine and nibbling cheese, socializing with firends as a band plays in the parking lot. (Called Ray at Night Second Saturday of every month. 6-9 p.m.) Or enjoy the opera at historic North Park Theatre and then have dinner at West Coast Tavern which is in the North Park Theatre building. Have some dessert at Heaven Sent Desserts, it's Heavenly!
